Future crockeries
Posted on 7/13/2009
When all forms of energy like fossil fuel, coal and hydro-electric generated electricity get exhausted due to man's over exploitation of finite natural resources, a day will come when there will not be much energy and we will be forced to get back to basics.

The basic needs for healthy cooking like these beautifully crafted earthen crockeries will always be made available to mankind by mother earth.

Items that can be spotted: stove, plate, cup, bowl, cooking vessels, water pots, lamp, pots for growing plants, savings box, roof tiles, and a host of others cooking range.

Even now these can be used or just exhibited in your fancy show cases or crockery and cutlery stockpile areas.

Many old city area citizens of mysore are continuing to use these earthen crockery because they believe cooking in these vessels is much more healtheir than metal based vessels.

Their heritage value is immense. It is better we get used to using these as early as possible.

One can find these in many by lanes in old city area and for variety and reasonable rates, on Pulikeshi Road, very near to Fountain Circle/ Ashoka Road turn immediate right near Veeranagere Board/Gumchi.

Thank you suresh,

Send a link of this article to your friends / relatives around Oman, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait or around the world. Let us show case Mysoru to the world.

We can also send out a message to the world that we are worried about climate change and are making efforts to establish green products in our daily life like these earthen pots and by resorting to tapping infinite solar energy.

PS: I will be posting some more green products shortly.
